MidCity Challenges Area Lawyers to Compete in Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon
Buffalo, NY—In December 2011, Junior Achievement of Western New York (JA) announced that it had elected Kurt Amico, President of Buffalo-based MidCity Office Furniture, to its Board of Directors. As a newly elected board member, Kurt is calling out area lawyers to raise awareness for JA's annual Bowl-A-Thon. "I've been involved with JA for over 8 years now and love the impact that we are making", says Amico, "This is an open challenge to law firms in WNY. If your team can beat our MidCity team, then we will give the winning team an executive office chair. If we get six teams that beat us then we will give away six chairs."
Each team willing to compete with the MidCity team will have to register directly with Junior Achievement for the Bowl-A-Thon, being held on Saturday, March 10, 2012. Visit http://www.JAWNY.org to register. Once registered, the team will have to register here with MidCity by March 9 to become eligible. For more details, call Kurt at 716.832.0138.
